Refresher Courses
Primary Care Refresher
Time to refresh your CPR and first aid skills? Do you hold a CPR or First Aid card from another training organization? If so, you are eligible to attend the Emergency First Response Refresher course. Plus, you can get Automated External Defibrillator (AED) training at the same time you refresh your CPR skills.
First Aid at Work Refresher
Due to changes in the HSE guidance there are now three types of refresher course:

For those who hold a current First Aid at Work qualification due to expire (within the 3 months before the expiry date), this program is an ideal refresher .The course is 12 hours of contact time, normally run over 2 days with a final assessment of students skills and knowledge on the second day.Course content is a review of the skills taught in the initial program along with an update to any changes in first aid guidelines and regulations.Upon completion of the program students are the qualified for a further three years

For those who current Emergency First Aid at Work qualification due to expire (within the 3 months before the expiry date), this program is an ideal refresher The EFR primary and secondary care course is one day course and fulfills the requirements for the Emergency First Aid at Work qualification. Upon completion of the program students are the qualified for a further three years.

The new HSE strongly recommended annual 3 hour refresher course. This keeps you first aiders, whether emergency first aid at work or first aid at work, up to date.
